SNGF: Revolutionary New Genealogy Products Will Make Me Rich

It’s been awhile since I participated in Randy Seaver’s Saturday Night Genealogy Fun. Today was the first Saturday in recent memory that my full schedule didn’t give me an excuse not to work on those pesky genealogy “to-do” lists. Fortunately, Randy came along and gave me the distraction I needed to stave off productivity!

Tonight’s mission poses the question:

If you found a bottle on the shore, and it had a genea-genie in it, and rubbed it and you had ONE WISH to make about your genealogy and family history research, what would it be?

Looking through my genealogy database proved fruitless. There was no way to pick one problem out of the bunch and I took a break. As I went into the living room, I touched the lamp (one of those kind that you tap to make it work. I bought it because my wife hated it.) and the light came on – literally and figuratively. The creative synapses were suddenly firing on all cylinders. If only I could get those inventions that popped in my head to somehow work. Right then, Randy’s genea-genie came along and offered me my wish. I took quick stock of what was important and replied,

Oh I’m sure I would donate some to charity and all that. After all, I would have NEVER-ENDING WEALTH. Why pick one genealogy problem when my NEVER-ENDING WEALTH allows me infinite resources to solve all of them? Pennsylvania has closed death records and I can’t get the certificates I want? No problem. I’D BUY PENNSYLVANIA. The entire NARA staff would read each document they own looking for my ancestors. And since I’d have NEVER-ENDING WEALTH, I could even afford to get the Ancestry World subscription…

So Mr. Genea-genie….please make these work:

  1. Chris,

I would like to place an order for 1 of each item. Do you accept PayPal?
