The time spent looking for Elizabeth Moore’s parents have driven us nutty. This block wall will be a great one to knock down. If there is anything I can do, let me know. May 2017 be the year of MOORE.

Comment on DNA Dilemma: A Mystery Presents Itself, Part 1 by Chris Staats http://www.staatsofohio.com/?p=3254&cpage=1#comment-2705 Mon, 22 Aug 2016 02:49:43 +0000 http://www.staatsofohio.com/?p=3254#comment-2705 I thought I replied, but it doesn’t seem to be there. The paper trail indicates that the relationship should be half first cousins once removed. The DNA tests, however, indicate that they aren’t related at all. The fact that she doesn’t match either kit that she should points to the probability that somewhere along the line, the person that the paper trail indicates is the father, isn’t actually the father. Stay tuned while we try to figure out where!

Do you mean that they were first cousins as far as their beliefs and learning from DNA that they are only half first cousins once removed? So is she much younger than her siblings? A mid life baby? Therefore in reality one of her siblings child and not a sibling but her grandparents took her as their own?

Which tells me I have learned a lot over the years. I look forward to reading more of your writing and hope you have more time for research soon.
